Procter & Gamble Company announced a globally products price rise to the highest of 16 percent

The increasing price of energy and raw materials drives the enterprises in the line of necessities begin to rise price, the relevant responsible person for China of P & G, Zhang Qunxiang confirmed to reporters yesterday, the global headquarters of his company officially announced to increase price globally and the highest rate is up to 16%, which is the biggest price hike action of P & G recently.

Spokesman of P & G said that, the prices of their products like, textiles, household cleaning products, hair care supplies, soap, shaving supplies, sanitation supplies and other products will increase 2-16% from the beginning of September, which is the most substantial price increases action of Procter & Gamble for one and a half year. Over the past 18 months, P & G has increased the product’s price to 4-8 percent. P & G spokesman estimated that the company's payments in respect of bulk commodities may increase by 20 billion dollars this year.
