Got Huge Fine for Manipulating Added Fuel Price, British Airways advertise to announce passengers to receive compensation
According to Xinhua News- British Airways and Virgin (also translated into"Virgin") were charged huge fine for conspiring to manipulate added fuel prices in the United States, which made them have to pay compensation to their consumers. According to the judgment of court, these two airlines must wholly sponsored to an advertising project launching on 6th and remind the qualified consumers in the whole country of United Kingdom to apply and receive compensation.
British Airways was fined about 120 million pounds (about 240 million dollars) by the British fair trade (OFT) last year for manipulating the added fuel price. U.S. Justice Department punished it another 300 million dollars after the court ruling its accusation for manipulating the added fuel price coming into existence.
