Director of Daneng, Qin Peng to pay Wahaha 400,000 RMB for disobeying the non-competitive law

The dispute between Danone and Wahaha has a latest progress after the “Green Card” event. The Intermediate People's Court of Shenyang adjudge the director of Daneng, Qin Peng to pay Wahaha 400,000 RMB to compensate its loss and suspend his post in the joint-venture company for disobeying the non-competitive law last weekend. In response, related people in charge of public relations of Danone-China said yesterday: "As yet there is no court verdict, we will release comment again only after receiving relevant verdict."

Intermediate People's Court of Shenyang said that they made the above judgment because Qin Peng violated relevant rules of the “non-competition” in “Company Law”. According to relevant law, if Qin Peng refused to accept the verdict, he can appeal within 30 days.
