A Brief Introduction to
China International Institute of
Multinational Corporations
Founded on January 1, 1993, China International Institute of Multinational Corporations(CIIMC) is a non-governmental organization directly supervised by the Ministry of Commerce and is specially engaged in the work of multinational corporations in China. It was granted the ‘Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations’ in July, 2006 and it is now being renamed as China International Institute for the Promotion of Multinational Corporations.
In the past ten years or so, conforming to the basic national policy of ‘Reform and Open-up’, with tenets of promoting the growth and development of multinational corporations and facilitating the exchange and cooperation between Chinese and foreign enterprises and with the aim of offering services as its mission by taking enterprises as the mainstay with the support of the government, in alliance with 56 ministries and commissions, international organizations and chambers of commerce, our institute has held nearly 30 large-scale conferences such as the World Economic Development Declaration Conference and Talk on China’s Economic Situation, etc., and has built a platform of cooperation and exchange between government and Chinese and foreign enterprises as well as between these enterprises. Our institute has solved many big problems for multinational corporations in China and Chinese enterprises in their development at home and abroad and has also made great contributions to the economic construction of our country.
Along with the further deepening of the ‘Reform and Open-up’, China International Institute of Multinational Corporations will keep on providing high quality services for enterprises both at home and abroad with individualized service designs, regularized service procedure, means of market-oriented service, standards of internationalized service, in a spirit of diligence and stamina, and with cautious and conscientious attitude.
Main Business Scope
1、Accept entrustment, provide Chinese and foreign multinational
corporations with planning of development strategy, make coordination on
governmental relationship and provide relative services, etc. according
to law.
2、Organize training on senior administration staff of multinational
corporations in China, carry out related guidelines, policies, rules and
regulations of China and promote the healthy development of
multinational corporations in China.
3、Assist related Chinese departments to train Chinese multinational
corporations, further promote the implementation of 'Going-out' strategy
of our country.
4、Organize multinational corporations and related enterprises to
facilitate the fair trade of import and export, make use of the
relationship between multinational corporations and their governments,
assist related ministries and commissions to coordinate related work
such as trade, intellectual property right and unfair competition, etc.
as a non-governmental organization.
5、Organize high-level forums for international organizations,
multinational corporations and related ministries and commissions of
China, build up exchange platform for enterprises and the government,
promote the stable, healthy and sustainable development of enterprises
in the open, competitive and orderly market system. At the same time,
provide multinational corporations in China with constructive and
coordinative services.
6、Summarize and popularize advanced management experiences and
technology of multinational corporations, facilitate
enterprises innovation of system, management and technology in order to
increase the market competitiveness of China's enterprises.
7、Accept the topics designed or entrusted by the state and the projects
entrusted by relevant international organizations, Chinese and
multinational corporations and well-known enterprises, organize Chinese
and foreign economists to make applied research in combination with
practice and provide ground for their decision making.
8、Promote the construction of 'Enterprises International Credit' build up
Chinese enterprises' credit database and increase the competitiveness of
Chinese enterprises.
9、Organize exhibitions at home and abroad, edit and publish related
publications and books.
