Mr. Tavakol, Advisor to Premier of Iran, and His Delegation Visited CIIMC
On the morning of August 23rd, 2006, the delegation led by Mr. Tavakol, Advisor to Premier of Iran and Chairman of Board of Chabahar Free Trade Industrial Zone Org. paid a visit to CIIMC. Mr. Zhang Xiaoyu, Executive Vice President and Secretary General and Vice President Zhang Xiuxue cordially met with members of the delegation.
Chairman Tavakol firstly gave a detailed introduction to the investment environment, favorable policies and investment projects of the zone, and he hoped that CIIMC could organize Chinese enterprises and investors to Iran to participate in the construction of projects such as seaport, airport, subway, highway, oil, fishing and processing of marine foods, etc.. Executive Vice President Zhang Xiaoyu introduced CIIMC briefly. Both sides expressed that they would establish partnership and carry out actual cooperation.
Other members of the delegation were: Mr. Hejazi, Investment Deputy, Mr. Jafari, Advisor in oil, gas and petrochemical, Mr. Islam Palast, official and Mr. Alavi, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to China, etc.
