Relevant Leaders of CIIMC Met With Deputy Governor
of Uppsala County of Sweden and His Delegation
On
the afternoon of January 18th, 2006, Mr. Zhang Xiaoyu,
Executive Vice President and Secretary General of CIIMC met with Mr.
UifHenericeeon, Deputy Governor of Uppsala County Government, Laschhood,
Mayor of Aeforcaleby City, Magnus Gustafson, Investment Promotion
Manager of Kalmar County, James shi, Secretary General of Sweden China
Development Council, and Erland Agren, President of Sweden Dragon Gate,
etc, in Meeting Room of CIIMC
Main purpose of the research of Deputy Governor UifHenericeeon’s delegation was to enhance communications between China and Sweden, seek appropriate Chinese partners and investor for projects, and promote investment and development of Chinese and Sweden enterprises. Sweden China Development Council planed to set up a branch office in Beijing in April, 2006.
During the meeting, Vice President Zhang Xiaoyu and Sweden guests exchanged ideas regarding the issues of status and future development space of the fields as Chinese iron mining industry, paper making industry, environmental-protection technology, regenerated resources and Chinese traditional medicine manufacturing industry. Vice President Zhang Xiaoyu also proposed that the both sides should further carry out comprehensive cooperation, establish strategic partnerships, and hold large fair for Chinese and Sweden enterprises at least once a year.
Vice President Zhang Fugui and Under Secretary General Tang Haijing attended at the meeting.
