Brief News: CIIMC Arranged Meetings Between Business Delegation from
New York State and Chinese Enterprises
From September 17th to 24th, 2005, a business delegation from New York State of America headed by Mr. George. E. Pataki, Governor of New York State, carried out one-to-one business discussions with Chinese enterprises respectively in Grand Hyatt Beijing and Shanghai JM Marriott. The delegation from New York State included eleven American enterprises which are mainly involved in environmental protection and biological & medical industry. Nearly twenty Chinese enterprises organized by CIIMC participated in the discussions.
Executive Vice President Zhang Xiaoyu met with Mr. Pataki, Governor of New York State, in the Embassy of the United States of America in China. Main purpose of this activity was to provide a platform of communication and cooperation for Chinese and foreign enterprises in the areas of biotech and environmental protection, etc. and to promote the rapid and healthy development of the Chinese biotech and environmental protection enterprises. The activity won great acclaim from the participating Chinese and American enterprises.
