The ‘3rd Talk On China’s Economic Situation’ Was Successfully Held in Langfang
The ‘3rd Talk On China’s Economic Situation’, organized by the Organizing Committee of the Northeast Asia & Bohai-Rim International Business Festival and the Organizing Committee of the World Economic Development Declaration, was held at the Internatinal Hotel of Langfang, Hebei province, on May 18th to 19th, 2007. The undertakers were China International Institute of Multinational Corporations and People’s Government of Langfang. With the topics of business and commercial policies, financial capital market reform and Bohai-Rim economic development, issues related to main problems and solutions to the economic development in China at the moment were discussed and communicated from various angles.
Mr. Abdul'ahat Abdulrixit, Vice-Chairman & Deputy Secretary, Party Committee, National Committee of CPPCC, attended and gave an opening address. Mr. Guo Gengmao, Governor of Hebei Province, gave a welcome address. Mr. Wang Maolin, Vice-Chairman, Law Committee, NPC and President of CIIMC, made a keynote speech. Mr. Hou YunChun, Deputy Director General, Research Office Of the State Council, Mr. Sun Xiaohua, Vice-Chairman, All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce, Mr. Wang Zhaoxing, Assistant of Chairman, China Banking Regulatory Commission, Mr. Xu Dingming, Vice-Chairman, Office of The National Energy Leading Group, Mr. Yu Jianhua, Head of the Department of International Trade and Economic Affairs, Ministry of Commerce, Mrs. Zhao Xin, Deputy Director, Research Office, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and Mr. Zhang Xiaopu, Section Chief, Supervisory Rules & Regulations Department, China Banking Regulatory Commission made theme speeches one by one and communicated with the delegates on issues of concern in an interactive way. The moderators were Mr. Chen Yaoxian, Vice-Chairman, Economic Affairs Committee, CPPCC, Mr. Ye Rutang, Vice-Chairman, Environment and Resources Protection Committee of NPC and Mr. Zhang Xiaoyu, Executive Vice-President & Secretary-General, CIIMC.
Also in attendance were leaders of provinces of Heibei, Shanxi, Shandong, Liaoning, Tianjin and Inner-Mongolia municipalities, leaders of relevant ministries and commissions, presidents of foreign chamber of commerce in China. Furthermore, senior-level management people such as chairmen, general managers, and chief representatives from state- owned, private, and foreign enterprises in the areas of finance, securities, real estate, energy resources, foreign trade, automobile, steel and other industries attended the Talk. The number of participants totaled over 300.
