Ambassador of the State of Qatar to China Visited Our Institute
On the afternoon of January 19th, 2007, Mr. Abdulla A Al-Muftah, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to China visited our institute accompanied by Mr. Gaafar K. Ahmed, Sinologist and Expert of the Embassy of the State of Qatar. Mr. Zhang Xiaoyu, Executive Vice-President & Secretary-General, received the guests cordially.
Mr. Al-Muftah highly appreciated our on-going selection and promotion activity of ‘The Best Foreign Cities to Be Invested by Chinese Enterprises’, and he expressed the wish to further promote the cooperation and development between Chinese and Qatar civil organizations, enterprises and governments by virtue of the meeting. Executive Vice-President Zhang Xiaoyu gave a detailed introduction to the activity as well as the ‘Round-Table Meeting of Chinese and Foreign Mayors, Bank Presidents and CEOs’ which is to be held in June,2007, and he warmly invited Mr. Al-Muftah to attend the meeting then.
