Vice Chairman Cheng Siwei Met With Executive Vice President

of McGraw-Hill Inc. and His Delegation

 

April 16th, 2004 News from CIIMC:  Mr. Cheng Siwei, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of NPC and Honorary Chairman of CIIMC, met with Mr. Robert Bhash, Executive Vice President and CFO of McGraw-Hill Inc. and his delegation which was visiting China in Hong Kong Hall of the Great Hall of the People yesterday afternoon. Mr. Bhash firstly introduced the McGraw-Hill Inc. whish was founded in 1888. The company is mainly engaged in financial service (Standard & Poor’s), educational publishing and business information service (Business Week, Aviation Week & Space Technology). Vice Chairman Cheng Siwei introduced the circulating status of Chinese economy and the outline of CIIMC. The meeting was carried out in a cordial and impassioned atmosphere.

 

Mr. Wang Maolin, President of CIIMC, Mr. Chen Yaoxian and Mr. Zhang Xiaoyu, Vice President of CIIMC, Mr. Meng Xiaolei, Under Secretary General of CIIMC, Mr. Wiarda, Managing Director  of Global Development Department of McGraw-Hill Inc.and Ms. Zhang Shasha, Chief Representative of Standard & Poor’s Co., (China) also attended at the meeting.
